At least 4 dead in NYC e-bike store fire

Tragically, yet another destructive fire erupted in New York City on Tuesday morning, resulting from a blaze caused by lithium-ion batteries in e-bikes.

The incident claimed the lives of four individuals and left two others in critical condition, Fox Business reported.

The New York City Fire Department promptly responded to the emergency, tackling a “heavy fire” at an e-bike store located on 80 Madison Street in Manhattan at approximately 12:15 a.m., as reported in the department’s tweet.
