Indian renewable energy minister criticizes US and EU for green agenda hypocrisy

The Indian Power and Renewable Energy Minister, Raj Kumar Singh, has slammed the US and EU over hypocrisy in their green agendas, claiming that the West is enacting protectionist policies that undermine emerging economies – thus hindering global efforts to transition to cleaner energy.
Commenting on the issue, former Indian External Affairs Ministry Secretary, Rajiv Sikri, tells RT that the West has failed in its efforts to help developing economies go green.
