British tourist finds massive monitor lizard climbing out of toilet

He wasn’t exactly the bathroom attendant that you might expect.

This British tourist was shocked to find an enormous monitor lizard staring back at him out of his toilet, while on holiday with his partner in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

The lizard disappeared on its own and was not seen since.

These water monitor lizards live in ponds and canals in large cities in Thailand and can be aggressive when threatened. They have a mildly venomous bite which could carry harmful bacteria.
