Canoo - Everything You Need To Know About the EV Startup | Startup Showcase

On this episode of Startup Showcase I go over everything you need to know right now about electric vehicle startup Canoo. I'll take you through the company's brief history, its brand position, and its models. Finally, I'll give my position on whether or not I think the brand will be successful. My opinion on Canoo's (or any other company's) viability is not to be construed as investment advice. Canoo is listed on the Nasdaq as GOEV. It was founded just outside Los Angeles, California in 2017 by Stefan Krause and Ulrich Kranz. Both founders are no longer involved with the company. Canoo has made solid connections with large corporations and government agencies like NASA and the Department of Defense. Canoo has property across the US for manufacturing, research and development, and management. Canoo currently offers three models, all of which are based on the same skateboard platform. There is the Lifestyle Vehicle which is similar to a minivan, but it has more offroading and camping capability with 350 horsepower. There is the Canoo Pickup, which is a versatile midsize pickup with a bed and payload capacity that can compete with full size trucks and up to 500 horsepower. Finally there is the MPDV (Multi Purpose Delivery Vehicle) which is a van targeted towards fleet and commercial buyers. Like the truck, the MPDV offers plenty of versatility straight from the factory. All vehicles have a range around 200 miles. Thanks for Watching!
