It was recorded on May 26 and 27, 1986 at the Pavilhão de Convenções do Complexo do Anhembi, in São Paulo, and brings great hits such as "Revoluções por Minuto", "Rádio Pirata" (which gives the album its title), "Olhar 43" and the unreleased "Naja" (instrumental based on Luiz Schiavon's keyboards) and "Alvorada Voraz", besides re-recordings of "London, London", by Caetano Veloso, and "Flores Astrais", by the group Secos & Molhados.
