1Thess lesson #101. The bulk of the Old Testament and into the New Testament covers the Dispensation of Israel. It was the age of Patriarchs and the age of Law and Prophets. It also encompassed the decree of Tribulation which is seen in the future tense of 7 years of tribulation during the end times.
