Pipper Birds are a common sight on beaches all across the world. These birds spend most of their day searching for food along the shoreline. They are easily recognized by their long, slender bills that they use to probe the sand for small invertebrates. In the early morning, Pipper Birds can be seen scurrying along the beach, often in large flocks. As the day wears on and the sun gets hotter, they retreat to the shade of beach umbrellas and dune grass. Despite their busy lives, Pipper Birds always seem to find time for playful activities such as diving into the surf or taking a quick dip in a tidal pool.
