STRIKING THE MARK

"He covers his hands with the lightning and commands it to strike the mark."
Job 36:32
Much of our modern theology is so clouded by man's ideas that we have forgotten how detailed and determined our God, Jehovah is to Guard and guide his creation. Our early fathers, including the authors of our scriptures, understood God's exactness that we have lost to our modern philosophies.
It's disheartening with the percentages of people in the church that believe God is not faithful in the details. Often it matches the same rate of people outside the church.
When I begin to be overcome by what I see around me and the reports that I hear concerning the surrounding forces of the enemy, my only hope is to turn into the word of God. If we lose confidence in God's faithfulness, it undermines our trust in everything that he has promised us.
The only way I know to fortify that trust is a continual washing of the water of the word of God so that my soul does not collect the dust that comes from the world.
Remember, the scriptures tell us that it is the presence of the Lord that produces joy and the pleasures that He has promised to us.
I quote, "In the presence of the Lord is fullness of joy and add, his right hand is pleasures forever more."
Job 36 is not just referring to a physical lightning bolt striking the mark. It also describes God's actions against injustice and the enemy's evil plans.
We find ourselves in a place of critical mass as a nation, where the only salvation and redemption for this situation is a lightning strike from God Almighty.
Our promise in Job 36: 32 Is that his lightning strike always hits the mark. He never misses.
