Lady Luck was delivered new to Eddie Rickenbacker’s Eastern Airlines in 1940 as NC15596 or Eastern ship # 357.
The plane is well know in the skydiving community for hauling thousands of jumpers in the early 90’s
She is well worth saving as original airline DC-3’s were not produced in great numbers and this one is especially rare with the Curtiss wright engines and history flying for a Florida airline back in the early 1940’s.
Frank Moss at the Shell Creek Airpark near Punta Gorda, Florida is restoring her back to her former glory.
