I recently purchased the Daiwa Lexa 400 Type-WN Baitcast Reel and I must say, it is a great reel. One of the things I love about this reel is how strong it is.
I plan on using this reel to catch yellowtail, tuna, and whitesea bass during their respective seasons. And I have no doubt that it will hold up well.
Ive also used its older brother, the Lexa 400hd, and Im confident this one wont disappoint either. One of the key things Ive noticed about this reel is how well it works with braided line.
Ive had no issues so far and its made for a great fishing experience. Ive paired this reel up with a heavy action rod, basically a bass rod, so I can be sure to hold on for dear life when I get a bite.
With the built-in drag, I am sure it can handle whatever comes its way. I plan on throwing a variety of surface irons, yo-yos, and maybe even some live bait for deep sea rock bass.
The reel is also beautiful and arrived in great condition. I even got it at a great price on Amazon. I bought this reel for my son and he loves it.
Its easy to cast without backlash and birds nests, plus it has a strong drag, fast gear ratio, and a comfortable ergonomic handle.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this reel to any avid angler looking for a high-quality baitcast reel that wont break the bank.
