How did the Romans dress in the late western and early eastern Imperium Romanum? We shall see during the course of this video, that the clothing style of the romans changed drastically from the time of the republic, until the Fall of the Western Roman Empire. In fact, the Romans of the late Empire would not have been recognizable as roman to a time traveller from say, the late republic. Why this was and how we can imagine this change, we shall find out right now.
