Asset manager giant Blackrock is filing to create the first Bitcoin spot ETF. The SEC has notoriously denied anyone from creating a Bitcoin spot ETF, and we are still waiting to hear if Greyscale will be allowed to turn their Bitcoin trust into a spot ETF. Blackrock is also naming Coinbase as their crypto custodian service in this case. This is about to get interesting!
