Russian airstrike hits central Kherson in southern Ukraine
Russian airstrikes hit central Kherson in the early hours of Thursday, punching a gaping hole in an office building and strewing rubble across the street.

Local resident Volodymr said the airstrike was the first in the city centre of the Ukrainian city of Kherson.

“We lived under occupation for a long time and people are adapting to terrible things rather than good things. As you see, they are shelling us regularly,” Volodymr said while standing amongst the rubble.
