This Penny's quest focuses on the Seedium plant Bramble Bush and was offered between between June 14, 2023 and June 21, 2023.

Bramble Bush is a member of the Spear-Mint family.
Bramble Bush costs 125 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 3, 6 and 8.)
Bramble Bush has three (3) berries. (+1 berry at levels 3 and 7.)
When a zombie approaches Bramble Bush, Bramble Bush will trap a zombie. This will consume a berry.
Trapped zombies will be immobilized and take 30 damage. (+15 damage per level.)
Trapped zombies will lose their armor.
Chickens and weasels will be eliminated without consuming a berry.

The Good:
Good value for the cost.
Stops all zombies - including Gargantuars, Bull Zombies and Mecha-Football Zombies.
Quick Recharge time - 5 seconds.

The Bad:
Not a permanent plant. This is more a multi-use single use plant.
Significantly less hit points than other front line plants like Wall-Nut or Blockoli.
Can only trap one zombie at a time. A second zombie would devour Bramble Bush.
Is a bit pricey in the early parts of a level.

Commentary:
A plant which can single-handedly stop and eliminate any zombie in its tracks absolutely needs to be considered.

Bottom Line:
Like many front line plants, Bramble Bush is a solid plant for its role. The only concern we have about this plant is the tendency to over-rely on this plant as the only early level stopper. This is more a mid level and late level plant versus a plant which should be planted early in a level.

Apart from that, get this plant. You won't regret it.
