Moved into a new house recently and I noticed hook ups for a natural gas grill. So when my birthday came around I was happy to receive this as a gift.
I also used Amazons service to put it together with a free offer. I recommend both the grill and the assembly service. It was delivered and put together just in time to celebrate by cooking some steaks.
Product arrived much sooner than forecast by Amazon. Unfortunately the two side plastic supports of the front control panel were broken.
Customer service was thoughtful and helpful and immediately ordered the replacement...

Product arrived much sooner than forecast by Amazon. Unfortunately the two side plastic supports of the front control panel were broken.
Customer service was thoughtful and helpful and immediately ordered the replacement part free of charge once I emailed a picture of the broken part.
The shipping carton was relatively undamaged, but I believe the broken piece was not packed securely and was able to shift during shipping.
Unlike some customer reviews, nothing else was dented nor bent.Assembly was fairly easy, especially using the mobile BILT app...much better than the paper instructions!!
I did not require a second person as recommended. I was able to complete assembly passing the broken part step, as nothing past that step required the control panel being present other than pushing the knobs on.
Second pic shows the grill assembled less the broken control panel...hope it ships quickly!
Easy to assemble if you make the time. Heats up fast, cooks evenly.
This grill us very well built and it easy to put together. It works great and looks even better! All the nuts are spot welded so it's a breeze to put together and took about 35 minutes.
I have heard so many good things about Weber, so I was really excited when I received it. Im a BBQ noob, my first grill ever, and so here are some things I learned from this experience:1.
The grill came in separate pieces, and youll have to assemble it yourself.Pro: Its pretty easy to assemble, and the instruction manual/app were very helpful.Tip: I recommend using both paper manual and digital app.
Manual is easier to use and gives you a good overview (its easier to read the steps before and after).
The app can let you rotate a digital model of what you are building, so you get a better view/understanding of how the pieces should fit together.Con: Its sort of hard to find the right pieces.
To save space, the pieces were packaged very tightly and not necessarily grouped together in a meaningful way.Ugly: Two pieces came bent, I have attached the photos of one of them, and thats after I tried to hammer it flat.
Fortunately its facing the back and I was still able to screw everything on tightly.2.
The stand is made of thin, nicely painted metal.Pro: Its pretty light, and it looks nice and shiny.Con: It feels flimsy and bends easily, and probably easily scratchedTip: Take the grey metal pieces out carefully, and follow the manual to build out the bottom part indoor first, once you have the wheels installed, roll it out to the backyard and finish the rest of the installation.3.
Using a gas grill is indeed much easier and funPro: It heats up fast, so you can turn it off in between batches of cooking and still get the food ready in a snap.
