Imagine listening to a symphony of sounds that can transport you to a different state of mind. That's what binaural audio can do for you. It uses two slightly different sounds, one for each ear, to create a harmony that only you can hear inside your head. This harmony is called a binaural beat and it has a rhythm that matches the gap between the two sounds. For example, if you hear a sound of 300 Hz in your left ear and a sound of 310 Hz in your right ear, you will hear a binaural beat of 10 Hz.

Binaural beats can tune your brain waves to different frequencies and affect how you feel and think. Different types of brain waves have different speeds and are connected to different modes of awareness. The five types of brain waves are:

- Gamma: 30-50 Hz. Gamma waves are the fastest and are related to being alert, focused, and creative.
- Beta: 14-30 Hz. Beta waves are associated with being awake, logical, and attentive.
- Alpha: 8-13 Hz. Alpha waves are linked to being relaxed, calm, and mindful.
