Reel 1 troops at Fort Monroe, Va., use surveying equipment; emplace an 8" railroad gun; raise barrage balloons; operate searchlights; and load and fire antiaircraft guns and shore batteries. Reel 2, troops at Fort Hancock, N.Y., ascend in an observation balloon, raise and loose weather balloons, plot weather conditions, and load and fire a 12" gun. Troops fire mortars and 155-mm guns near Key West, Fla., in Feb. - March 1919.
