Enlightening Rio Part 2: The Austrian Mission

The French Mission, that came before this one and which I've already posted a video about, was an artistic one. However the Austrian mission, which is the theme of this video, was truly a scientific mission.
Once again, Rio and Brazil were able to grow culturally, but this time also in regards to the natural sciences. Not to mention that they came along with a very beloved woman who later played a very important role in the history of Rio and Brazil; then an archduchess of Austria and soon to be Princess of Brazil and the future first empress of the empire of Brazil; Leopoldine.
