In response to receiving threats, Mayor Montserrat Caballero of Tijuana, a Mexican border city, has made the decision to reside at an army base for her personal safety.

The mayor’s announcement came after the discovery of seven deceased individuals who had been placed in a pickup truck, CBS News reported.

The truck was found abandoned at a gas station in Tijuana, with its doors left open. Inside the vehicle’s back seat, a body was found wrapped in a blanket, while six additional bodies were concealed beneath tires and wooden boards.
