I review the Olight Warrior X 3, a powerful tactical thrower flashlight. This light produces 2500 lumens and throws 560m. This is the first Olight I own and I'm impressed with the clarity and smoothness of the beam. It's difficult to center and position a LED in a smooth reflector without any ringiness or artefacts. Olight has done this well. This light also features magnetic charging and a vibration alert to notify you when the battery drops below 20%. Find out more by watching my video!

Olight Warrior X3 Transcript
General thoughts after a week of usage/size comparison/practicality/interesting things:
• This is the first Olight Flashlight that I've owned. I borrowed the Warrior 3 to review a while back though. One of the things that stick out to me is the advanced features Olight incorporates. In the X3, I'm talking about magnetic charging, eliminating the need to remove the battery to charge, and also doing away with the finicky USB-C rubber port. I was surprised when I turned the light on, that it... vibrated? So it turns out there are three different vibration alerts to signal battery capacity. This is useful for tactical products when you don't want stray light from aux LED indicators. This is definitely a thrower with all the bells and whistles and it comes with a 5-year warranty!
• Tactical ring and holder - two options.
• Comparison with other flashlights.
Overall Construction, LED, lens, bezel, and reflector
• Overall Construction is very impressive. Machining is high quality, with no defects or imperfections. The cutouts on the head are aesthetically pleasing and also offer an extra surface area for heat dissipation. Nice and glossy. The knurling is pronounced and I think this is necessary due to the smooth anodizing.
• SFT70 with a smooth reflector. The bezel/head is larger than most tactical Flashlights at 39mm. AR glass. The bezel features three glass-breaking beads. The entire bezel has a metallic blue coating on the surface. The vibration motor is in the head of the light. Unable to disassemble. Only the tailcap can be removed.
• Dual stage switch on tailcap. It has an interesting and clean design. This is where the wireless charging cable attaches to.
UI - modes
• Two modes, low (300 lumens) and high (2500 lumens).
• A quick press will turn the light on. Press and hold will activate the momentary mode. This applies to both half-press/full-press strength.
• No lockout mode.
Performance - total output, beam profile, longevity, practicality
• Ceiling bounce test, CCT, CRI
• Beautiful beam profile, perfectly circular beam with no artefacts. The edges of the beam however are not completely circular due to the crenulation on the bezel. Great heat management.
Considerations
• Proprietary battery and magnetic charging. You can charge the battery externally if you can make contact with the positive terminal. Some people add solder onto their charger's metal contact for this reason. Proprietary batteries and charging mean that Olight can achieve consistency in light performance. As many of you know, there are various battery brands and grades that lead to drastically different performances.
• Reactivation of the turbo mode is only possible after the light cools down.
• No moonlight mode, or true low mode.
Verdict
• I know Olight can be divisive with enthusiasts but if you can get past their widespread 'apple-like' popularity and proprietary charging and don't mind the price tag, this is one solid tactical flashlight that packs a punch. The overall feel and build quality are excellent and I like the creature comforts of magnetic charging, the plug-and-play ease of use, and no need for long instruction manuals.
