Not just another day, another glorious day!

I had the privilege of spending the day with my oldest daughter ​⁠ today. The weather was beautiful to start so we went the Kaslo Golf Course practice area to work on our golfing skills for awhile.

Then we hopped into the car and headed for the West Kootenay village of New Denver in the Slocan Valley. I wanted to show her a cool little music store there that sells vinyl records & guitars.

Afterwards we went to the grocery store and grabbed some things for lunch. Then headed for the lakeside park. By this time the weather was starting to turn for the worst, getting windy and a bit cool but we toughed it out.

Decided to explore the village a bit, found a little park and playground. This is where I traumatized her with a ride on an old Mary Go Round lol.

On our way back home to Kaslo we ran into some of the heaviest rain I’ve ever driven in… and then came the hail. By the time we got home the weather had cleared up, well, actually we only got ahead of it because it’s storming outside right now as I type.
