VP Custom Colt Rebuild 1911 45ACP

This particular projects was inspired by the Delta 1911 and built on an old Colt Gold Cup and Colt slide with Heinies Sights ​⁠​⁠ . A complete overhaul was performed including frame rail peening/slide lapped, fitment of a Kart NM barrel, magwell bevel, beavertail/grip safety tang radius mod and a complete replacement of all internals/controls with hand fitted HD components. Topping off this project with a set of VZ double diamond grips ​⁠​⁠ and the VP Park/Bluing finish.
