The Little Mermaid is Now Black FOREVER?

Disney has announced a new Little Mermaid preschool show. And, of course, Ariel stays Black. For now. Weirdly, Flounder looks like the OG cartoon. Is this the "new normal" for the character, or is it a one-off to tie-in to the movie? Twitter is THRILLED, seemingly hoping that Ariel NEVER goes back to being a white girl.
