I have a bad back and when I use my walking poles it seems to take the stress off of my back which is so important and feels great to me. I can only speak for me but you should try. If they don't work for you, you can always send them back.
I was too excited to get these poles! Took a little minute to get used to them, but did like walking with them. Maybe I’m walking too hard, but it seems like they are always retracting, and I am constantly having to reset the height and tighten them.
But I did notice that i burn more calories with them than without. I have given up with handweights and prefer the poles
Bought these bad boys for hiking the narrows in Zion. While they definitely made it easier to not fall down, I lost the bottom nubbins in the river. I wish they were a screw on and not “push them on, yeah that’s good enough”.
Now my guilty conscience of littering won’t let me sleep
I ordered these for my elderly father who likes to go on walks, sometimes on uneven terrain. He said he only uses one, but it offers him stability and sturdiness while he walks.

These poles are great. The last pair I had didn't stayed locked in the height position I chose, but these locks are strong & don't slip. Cork grip is easy on the hands
