The grip on the sole is also fantastic. I feel secure on rock and wet surfaces. The sole on the 3s is definitely different than the two. I think the 3s give a more stable and sure grip over varied terrain.
The heel cup is also reinforced and feels more supportive. Ive had problems with my achilles in the past and so far after 20 miles on these, I have had no issues.
The lacing system seems more secure and I have not had to adjust them as much as I did on my 2s. I also appreciate the color selection of these boots.
