White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre started off a press conference Monday by honoring victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting on the seventh anniversary of the massacre. On June 12, 2016, 49 people were killed and 53 injured in a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. “Today we pray for the families of the victims and every survivor who still carries the trauma,” said Jean-Pierre.
