What Are 3 Of My Current Go-To Games on Switch, PS5, & Xbox?

When it comes to playing video games, I just don't have the time to sink into a ton of games at one time due to life being busy. Because of that, I tend to turn to a few games as the go-to games I play when I need a fix. Here are my current top-3 games I turn to when I need a gaming fix on my Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series S.

MLB The Show
I'm currently bouncing between The Show 22 and the Show 23 on PS5 and Xbox, as I have 2/3rds of a 2022 season done on the PS5, but I still want to take advantage of the updates for 2023. This is always a series I love to just toss in and play 9 innings, or 15 on rare occasions! One thing I have discovered is how much faster the PS5 version loads than the Switch or Xbox versions. It's really amazing how much faster it is!

NASCAR Heat 5
Ok, get your "You like just making left turns" jokes out now, but stick with me. Where NASCAR Ignition is a steaming pile of garbage, Heat 5 was really good. I thought the physics were an improvement, I liked the multiple series, and overall it is a lot of fun. And, unlike Ignition, it has a rearview mirror. Seriously, NASCAR needs to take the license back.

Super Mario World
This should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with me or the channel, but Super Mario World on any platform is a go-to for me. One of my favorite games of all time has to be Super Mario World for the Super NES. It is, in my opinion, the perfect platformer. It has an amazing soundtrack, great level design, fair toughness, and of course, it introduced us to Yoshi!
