The Vortex Optics Pro Riflescope Rings are a great addition to any rifle setup. These rings function great and hold solid, ensuring your scope stays in place.
Although they may seem a bit pricey, the quality makes it worth it. One minor improvement could be some smoother edges and rounder corners, but this is just nitpicking.
The measurements of these rings are on point and allowed me to get my optic bell just a hair off the top of the rail, creating a nice low profile.
The way you install the optic in the loops may be different but it has its perks, once you figure out the benefit to why they did it that way. Shipping was quick and the packaging was great.
These rings fit perfectly with my Remington 700 SPS .308 using the Weaver Base # 48097 / 97 Gloss and the Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x50mm scope. If you choose to use these rings, I suggest going with medium rings since they seat a bit too high.
Quality is definitely not an issue with these rings and taking some measurements before purchasing will be helpful. What I like most about these rings is their adjustability for level and placement of the scope.
Once you tighten the top and bottom screws, your scope will not move. Its important to follow the instructions and invest in a torque screwdriver, but with proper installation, there shouldnt be any issues with the scope moving.
I personally used these rings with a Leupold Steel Long Range base and had great results.
