Ive been using this reel for a few weeks now and I must say, Im really impressed. Ive caught some nice sized fish using this reel and it never let me down.
I appreciate the fact that its lightweight, which makes it comfortable to use for an extended amount of time. The drag system is truly unparalleled. Its so smooth and responsive, allowing me to make quick adjustments when necessary.
Ive also noticed that my casting distance has improved since using this reel. It must be the design of the spool, which is fantastic. The handle is very comfortable and provides a good grip.
However, I do wish it was slightly larger, as my hands tend to cramp up after using it for a while. I really like the color scheme of this reel. Its a tasteful combination of black, red, and gold that looks sharp in any fishing situation.
The reel came with a very comprehensive manual that provides instructions on how to properly maintain it. This shows that Abu Garcia truly cares about their customers.
However, I was disappointed to see that there were no replacement parts included in the box. I hope this doesnt cause me any issues down the line. Overall, Im extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Abu Garcia Revo Ike Spinning Fishing Reel.
