Shibir supporters rally against Awami League government in Bangladesh

Thousands of Jamaat-Shibir supporters rallied against the government in Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, demanding the release of jailed party members.

A large rally was held at Ramna Engineering Institute, with protesters chanting slogans and listening to speeches and a heavy police presence deployed to prevent the event from escalating.
