Where Did the Nazi Scientist Go After WW2
During WW2, Operation Paperclip was a top-secret program conducted by the United States government in the aftermath of World War II. Its purpose was to recruit German scientists, engineers, and technicians who had been working for the Nazi regime during the war and bring them to the United States to work on various projects. The program operated from 1945 to 1959 and resulted in the relocation of over 1,600 German scientists and their families to the United States.
