Interview with Chris Trisko - POD 0010

1.68K

Chris Trisko (TO), a retired USAF PJ, reflects on his journey of becoming a Pararescuemen (PJ), his time in the Special Operations Community, and some of the experiences he faced, including a MH-47E Chinook helicopter crash while deployed with the 24 STS.

He describes the rigorous and physically demanding selection process he underwent to become a PJ and how he went through specific programs that prepared him for pipeline schools, such as military free-fall, scuba, and paramedic training. Despite some setbacks, such as being rolled back during Indoc, TO persisted and was eventually assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron in North Carolina.. He also talks about the crash of SUMO 43, the chaos and trauma that followed, as well as his admiration for the PJs who served alongside him and their incredible skills.

Ultimately, Trisko emphasizes his commitment to fighting his way back to full duty status after being injured and undergoing orthopedic surgery, so that he could be back in the fight with his teammates and achieve new goals.

This is an amazing interview that you will not want to miss. TO is a true warrior, and leader of men. We are proud to have the honor of sharing his story here on Elite You.
