You Won’t Believe What the Judge Told Him | Extradition Appeal

Everyone is talking about how Donald Trump has been indicted under the espionage act. What people don't know is that the espionage act is a law that has always been used in the United States as a political tool to silence opponents. It was crafted in 1917, during WWI, and one of its most famous targets was Eugene Debs was given 10 years in prison, and stripped of his citizenship for giving an anti war speech. Elsberg, Manning, Kiriakou, Snowden, were also charged under the espionage act. None afforded a public interest defence, another reason why the espionage act is a political tool intended to silence whistleblowers literally, even in court.
Even worse, it is being used to threaten Julian Assange, a publisher, with almost 200 years in prison. Many people are making a ruckus about Trump putting classified documents in a bathroom. You sure wish they cared just as much about press freedoms, don't you?
The irony is that Trump himself is the one who used the espionage act against Assange, and it seems increasingly likely, that what goes around does indeed come around.
Trump definitely put America's national security at risk, not for bringing home documents, but assassinated Soleimani, the equivalent of Iran's defence minister. Why don't Trump's detractors attack him for actual crimes, like putting illegal sanctions on millions of people, stealing oil from Syria,
