Overview and disassembly of the first Double Action 1911 pistol. Black Watch was a name used by the foot soldiers (Infantry) of the Royal Regiment of Scotland's Highland protectors, who's colors were black and green.

Para Ordnance started in Canada with two childhood friends, who both were immigrants from across the pond. While making things for military and police applications, they turned their focus to the 1911 pistol and made the first .45 ACP double stack 1911 and later the first double action 1911.
