OUR POWER OF CHOICE ALWAYS DEFINES THE NATURE OF OUR MYSTICAL ASCESIS

We are all endowed with a dual nature: an animal one that pulls us down and a spiritual one that pushes us upwards. And we always lean towards one or the other according to our tendencies and affinities. Between the two is our conscience which acts as the tip of the scales to balance and harmonize all things.
