TRAIN DRIVER'S VIEW: Heavy delays on the 110th anniversary for the Bergen Line

The Bergen Line was connected between East and West on November 27th 1909. The Line has undergone some changes over the years, but most parts are still intact. The biggest changes was done around Finse where they shortened the line by constructing two tunnels to increase the regularity and speed. The Line was hard to keep open during the winter as the track would be completely snowed down. This happened even when they were running two rotaries that was running back and forth.

I was running train 602 this day from Voss to Ål. The trains fro Oslo was heavily delayed due to signalling problems at the depot in Oslo.

The mountain pass also presented it from it's best winter wonderland! Winter is finally here!
