Abortion isn’t an act of compassion

Abortion is not an act of compassion. If you truly cared about human lives, you’d be more intentional around the act that creates human life.

The abortion industry is hidden behind a veil of euphemisms. Otherwise it would cease to exist. It’s easy to end a life when neither the life nor the death is seen or felt by anyone besides the mother. It’s easy to call it an act of “compassion”—when truly, it’s anything but. Life is hard—for everyone. Some folks have it harder than others, but nothing is worse than death. And it’s never ever ever too late—until your life ends. Please don’t decide that “life is too hard” for your unborn offspring, before you ever even meet him. If you do that, you’re serving no one besides yourself. Life is hard for you, so you’ve decided life is “too hard” for him—without ever giving him a chance. He is not you. This is not compassion.
