MC Eiht Reacts to Lebron James Retirement Rumors
MC Eiht & Steele react to Lebron James retirement Rumors. Which leads to a debate on the importance of the Lakers dynasty compared to the accomplishments of other teams, specifically the Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James scores 40 points in one game, but he misses the opportunity on his team's final two possessions.
We somewhat anticipated this for your Los Angeles Lakers after that double-digit loss in Game 3 to the Denver Nuggets.
But this was not how we had anticipated the situation to play out. Against Denver, the Lakers opened up a 15-point lead at the half, but by the middle of the third quarter, it had completely vanished. The remaining portions of the game were a brawl, with each club exchanging blows throughout a pretty tough contest.
LeBron James, an All-NBA LA small forward, had a fantastic back-to-the-wall first half that propelled the team to a decisive advantage, but he was also likely to blame for the Lakers' 113-111 game-ending loss.
Keep in mind that the Lakers defied the odds and bounced back from a disastrous 2-10 season start to not only make the playoffs but also get to the Western Conference Finals. Very impressive for a seventh seed.
The team is now entering a tumultuous summer during which the majority of its players will become free agents.
During the first quarter, Los Angeles' situation was improving. James scored 21 of LA's 34 points in the frame from all over the floor, looking completely rejuvenated. James made 7 of 9 field goal attempts, including 4 of 4 from long distance, and 3 of 3 free throw attempts. Denver lingered, adding 28 of its own points.
In order to counteract the Nuggets' size, LA was so desperate that the team even brought in Tristan Thompson for 4:29 of first-half garbage time! We all knew that Mo Bamba's return to the lineup would have a significant impact on Darvin Ham's rotations, and this was the case even before he did.
In the second quarter, James was equally fired up, scoring 10 more points on 4-of-4 shooting. The 19-time All-Star played every minute of the first half, with the exception of 4.2 seconds, knowing that a loss would mean elimination. His 31 points in the first half of the playoffs were a postseason record for him and tied his career high.
James' strong start helped LA lead Denver by double digits at the half, 73-58. The only other player on the squad to reach double figures was Rui Hachimura, who scored 10 points on 3-of-8 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe while making his first postseason start.
The Nuggets club was visibly upset and out of sorts. They appeared to be extremely confused by the inconsistent foul calls made during the first half. Up to that moment, Denver had made six of six free throw attempts, while the Lakers had made 16 of 17.
With a 55.6% field goal percentage and just one turnover, the Lakers were enjoying a great half.
The home audience at Crypto.com Arena would no longer feel truly joyful after that.
At the start of the third quarter, the murmuring became increasingly uneven. With a quick 24-8 run to climb back into the game, the Nuggets took the lead for the first time in the game on a challenging Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and-one play underneath the hoop. When Denver started the game 9 of 20, LA could hardly buy a field goal, shooting just 3-of-12 in the first few minutes of the quarter.
In this period, Los Angeles missed out on a ton of defensive rebounds. Despite his poor shooting performance, Anthony Davis continued to be a formidable opponent in and around the paint.
The Nuggets led the Lakers 94-89 going into the fourth quarter after outscoring LA 36-16 when all was said and done.
There is a very, very real potential that LA would have avoided elimination for at least one night if it weren't for these two crazy mistakes made by the team's captain in the last seconds of the game.
James put in a huge 47:56 of the 48 minutes that he was on the court, scoring 40 points on 15 of 25 field goal attempts (4 of 7 from beyond the arc), grabbing 10 rebounds, giving out nine assists, and committing two steals. He also performed outstanding, perfectly tuned defense all night long.
Beyond those two poorly executed late plays, Davis' continued absence as a scorer was the true problem.
