Speaking with reporters in the Greater Montreal Area, federal Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault announces $400,00 in funding for a four-year project for the area? Montreal? (no accent, even tho fed govt likes to add) that aims to restore and protect the habitats required by a dozen at risk species. He is joined by local MPs Yves Robillard (Marc-Aurèle-Fortin) and Fayçal El-Khoury (Laval—Les Îles), as well as Stéphane Boye (mayor of Laval), Christine Métayer (executive director, Éco-Nature) and Eric Westram (mayor of Rosemère).
