Leah's unloved story: Rachel's desperate plan for children

Though Leah was unloved, God blessed her with children while Rachel remained barren. In her desperation, Rachel came up with the clever plan to have her slave, Bilhah, bear children in her stead. Through this, Leah was able to have two more sons and Rachel two more.
