Indian village road actually just carpet

If you want someone to asphalt your carpet, this company has got you covered.

A group of Maharashtra locals were thrilled that the Prime Minister Rural Roads Scheme had finally deigned to build them a new road. That was until they lifted up the road to find out, well, that they could lift up the road. The freshly upholstered road was little more than a thin covering of asphalt over what looks like a carpet, and not fit for cars or vacuum cleaners. Many are now wondering if the company deliberately did a cheap job and pocketed the difference, and possibly if they can do a deal on two rooms, stairs and a hallway.

The company behind the road work claimed that it was in fact advanced German technology. We don’t know what the issue is, the result looks very rugged.
