Sexual sins are against your own body

1 Corinthians 6:18
"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body."

All forms of sexual immorality, those inside the marriage and the ones outside the marriage covenant directly affect your own body. If you are actively involved in a relationship that the Bible deems sinful, or have done something in the past that was, you need to make sure to stop and reconcile directly with God.
