Instant Easy way to make Authentic Egg Curry
A recipe for Indian-style egg curry:
Ingredients:
4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 bay leaf
1 inch piece of cinnamon stick
4 cloves
1 green chili, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2 cup water
Salt to taste
Cilantro leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and cloves and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the green chili and onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 minute more.
Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder and cook for 1 minute more.
Add the water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the eggs and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Season with salt to taste.
Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve with rice or roti.
Tips: For a thicker gravy, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch or flour to the water before bringing it to a boil.
You can also add other vegetables to the curry, such as potatoes, carrots, or peas.
If you don't have hard-boiled eggs, you can poach or fry the eggs before adding them to the curry.
