RIP - Pat Robertson 1930 - 2023

93-year-old conservative evangelist and media mogul Pat Robertson died.
Born in 1930 in Lexington, Virginia.
He became a Marine Corps reservist after graduating from Washington & Lee University in 1950.
In 1955, he graduated from Yale Law School and New York Theological Seminary.
In 1960, he renamed a bankrupt UHF television station the Christian Broadcasting Network
He created the Christian Coalition and helped Republicans win Congress in 1994.
After his failed presidential attempt in 1988, he resigned as CBN CEO.
He was a beloved Christian right-wing figure who occasionally broke with conservative party policy.
