Blinken meets with Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen

Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen Thursday. According to a statement from Blinken's office, the group discussed "the margins of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS Ministerial in Riyadh and commended progress made in forging lasting peace in northern Ethiopia through the implementation of the November 2 Cessation of Hostilities Agreement."
