Gunfire was heard moments after a graduation ceremony had ended in Richmond, Virginia.

Two people were killed, including an 18-year-old who had just accepted their high school diploma, and five others were injured.

The deadly attack happened a day after protesters gathered outside elsewhere in the US in Colorado in support of the banning of guns in the state.
