In the pacific northwest we have an amazing dungeness crab fishery, especially in the fall months. When catching crab, it's very important you keep the crab alive and only kill it the proper ways. If you don't kill the crab the right way or fast enough, it will release toxins into the meat and it won't be good to eat or good for you. We had an amazing day of dungeness crabbing on the Washington Coast so we figured it would be a good time to show you the best way to care for your crab.
