Superpower Testimony #22-The Supernatural Protection of God: Have you ever had something bad happen to you which left you feeling abandoned by God? Did it make you look at others who seemed to be living in relative safety & comfort while you wondered why you suffered the effects of tragedy, loss, or pain? That was me for many, many years. In 2015 I finally asked God why He had abandoned me during some critical moments in my past. His response rocked me & opened my eyes to the truth. He said, "Leave you?? I never left you. I put people in place to protect you & they failed you, but I have never failed you." The way it came across my spirit, I could tell He was not condemning the people who failed me. He was just stating a fact because God does not lie.

He then went on to show me the many ways in which He had protected me over the years. It was healing to see all the times He was present in the very pain that blinded me to Him. He also reminded me of all the times He nudged me against going in a particular direction & I ignored Him. My stubbornness & rebellion cost me & others dearly. It took me years to repair the relationship with my daughter caused by my selfish choices, for example. Now that I know I am supposed to work with God vs. against Him or on my own, it has changed everything. When I stick to the battle plan. I lessen the number of “casualties” my team & I suffer because I remain encamped in the fortress of the Lord.

You see, we are called to co-labor with God. The supernatural protection of God is not a one-sided endeavor. The Israelites had to fight & trust God for the victory. Their enemy was flesh & blood, ours is not. Ephesians 6 describes the terribleness of our spiritual enemy. Therefore, in addition to complying with the holy boundaries set by God in His word, we also have to actively fight against a spiritual army.

Abiding in God does not mean we will never experience anything challenging. It means we can increase the chances of safety & overcome the unavoidable trials. His way gains us the victory. #kingdompeoplearise #wewillovercome #overcomers #JesusWon #coach #kingdombusiness
