Unreleased Last Interview with Peter Steele (Type O Negative) Revealing His Faith in Jesus Christ!

In this newly discovered, previously unreleased interview—the last, in fact, conducted with Peter Steele, the frontman of Type O Negative—on October 24th, 2009, just less than six months before his untimely death, Peter reveals his newfound faith in Jesus Christ and shares much-needed advice for his fans who are struggling with life.

For those unfamiliar with Peter, he was an American musician and songwriter best known as the frontman of the gothic metal band Type O Negative. He had a distinctive baritone voice and a commanding presence on stage. He was also the primary songwriter and bassist for the band, whose music was characterized by its dark and melancholic sound, blending elements of doom metal, gothic rock, and industrial. They often incorporated themes of love, death, and the human condition into their lyrics. The band's music was heavy and atmospheric, with slow, brooding guitar riffs, melodic keyboards, and a strong sense of melody.

Peter stopped drinking alcohol and taking drugs in the fall of 2009 as he wanted to change his life for the better. On April 12, 2010, he began suffering from the flu at his home in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Shortly afterward, he suffered an aortic aneurysm and died suddenly from sepsis caused by diverticulitis. (initially reported as heart failure) Fortunately, before his passing, it seems he had found a newfound faith in Jesus Christ!

This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who He said He is. "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9

Call upon the name of the Lord: Call out to the Lord confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of lords and the King of kings. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - Romans 10:13

"Father God in heaven I call upon you in the name of Jesus Christ. I confess that I am a sinner and I ask forgiveness for my sins. That I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is Your Son and that He died on the cross for my sins, that He was buried, ands then three days later He rose from the dead. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that You are my Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord for saving me, in Jesus's name I pray, Amen."
