• Buffalo nickels are typically worth between .25 to $1.00. If the year is between 1913-1916, it could potentially be a rare coin worth between $50 to $3,000.

• War nickels we’re issued from 1942-1945 during World War 2. Nickel as a metal was used in abundance for war munitions, so these nickels were comprised of 35% silver to provide more nickel for war efforts. The coins however, could be worth more than the melt value if they are rare enough.
